On rare occasions—particularly with vehicles brought in from snow/salt states (Midwest, East Coast, Rust Belt) or vehicles with pre-existing damage—heavy rust, stripped threads, or seized hardware can make disassembly unpredictable. If severely corroded, stripped, or unsafe surrounding components are discovered:Work is immediately paused.​We show you in person or send clear photo/video proof right to your phone.​We explain your options and obtain your full authorization before proceeding with any specialized extraction or repair work.

We are happy to install parts you have already purchased. Please ensure parts are the exact fitment for your vehicle. Customer-supplied parts carry NO WARRANTY on parts or labor. If a customer-supplied part is incorrect, defective out of the box, missing hardware, or fails after installation, any additional tear-down, diagnostic, return time, or re-installation labor is billed at our standard labor rate.

M1 Automotive stands behind our work with a 12-Month / 12,000-Mile Workmanship Warranty on installation labor for M1-supplied OEM components. Because we cannot verify manufacturing tolerances or quality control of third-party retail components, aftermarket and customer-supplied parts carry NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER (PARTS OR LABOR) through M1 Automotive. All aftermarket and customer-supplied components are installed strictly "AS-IS." M1 Automotive is not responsible for part defects, premature failures, or any labor costs required to diagnose or replace a failed non-OEM component.
